Design your own waste treatment system using
off-the-shelf components

Select from a wide range of pumps, filters and ancillary equipment to design your own customized waste treatment system. Whether you require additions of flocculent or coagulant to enhance removal of dispersed matter or if you require simple removal of suspended solids - components may be selected to accommodate a wide range of waste reduction needs.

A typical system (such as the one depicted below) may incorporate an untreated waste reservoir (pump station), polymer tanks with mixer (mixing station) for sludge settling or floc addition, metering and air operated diaphragm pump for transfer/dosing and finally, a gravity filter or filler press for sludge dewatering.

Following are some of the many products which can be used in your waste treatment applications.

HORIZONTAL CHEMICAL PUMPS
SELF-PRIMING CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
METERING PUMPS
Pumps in PVC, CPVC, PVDF, polypropylene, Noryl, Ryton, 316 SS, cast iron, titanium and ETFE for outstanding chemical resistance and non-metallic solution contact. Single or double mechanical seal. Flows to 3,000 GPM. Corrosion resistant plastic, cast iron or stainless steel pumps can be used to transfer chemicals, solvents, sludge, slurries and waste from industrial applications. Available with electric, air, hydraulic or gas engine drive. Flow rates to 360 GPM. A complete line of metering pumps with internal and external pulse control and flow rates to 22 GPH for adding acids and bases for process control or to neutralize solutions for waste treatment.

CHEMICAL SUMP PUMPS & PUMP STATIONS
PRESSURE FILTER CHAMBERS
FILTRATION SYSTEMS
Sump pumps are available in lengths from 1 to 12 feet. Collection and pumping stations offer the most economical and reliable means of collecting and transferring corrosive or hazardous wastes that need to be held for batch transfer and are not allowed to go down municipal drains. Filter chambers are available in metallic or non-metallic materials to provide chemical compatibility with the solution to be filtered. Available in a range of sizes, they also provide the capacity to handle the volume of solution to be treated.

A wide range of filtration systems for use with cartridge, bag, disc, sleeve or permanent filter media. They can be installed for in-line or recirculatory filtration, as required.

CARBON PURIFICATION
RECESSED PLATE FILTER PRESS
pH & ORP METERS, CONTROLLERS, RECORDERS
A wide range of chambers and complete systems for the removal of organic materials from waste streams. Models are available for use with carbon cartridges or granular carbon in canisters or bulk form.

Filter presses are ideal for dewatering wastes, reclaiming solids and recovering chemicals and costly solutions. The press has recessed gasketed polypropylene plates with air operated hydraulic closure. Standard models provided to 50 cu. ft. capacity. Larger sizes are available upon request. A complete line of pH meters for monitoring, controlling and recording the pH or ORP of process solutions and waste streams, as well as conductivity meters to maintain rinse water quality and conserve water.

          ION EXCHANGE RESIN SYSTEMS
Recover heavy metals from rinse water. Effluent is suitable for discharge or bath replenishment. Concentrated regenerate can be chemically treated for disposal or possible recovery. Choice of systems with or without prefilters (prefilter removes suspended solids that decrease resin capacity). Flow rates to 480 GPH.
