Designed to meet today's requirements for cost effective and
reliable process control and monitoring, this line of instrumentation
is easy to operate and install - offering reliable data and automatic
waste treatment or process control.
A system consists of three basic components - a sensor and its
installation, fitting or assembly, and an instrument (recorder,
monitor, or controller). Combined with suitable probe assembly
and metering pump, they can provide an inexpensive control package
and are available from one source. Recorders are available to
fill the requirements of a complete automatic control system.
Monitors measure the process variable and can be either indicating
or recording instruments. Controllers, in addition, have provision
for operating valves, pumps, or alarms.
The items offered are easy-to-install systems for pH, ORP, TDS,
Conductivity, or Flow - combining state-of-the-art electronics
with rugged components.
Programmable, microprocessor-based controllers are also available.
The systems offer the flexibility and reliability of the most
demanding industrial requirements. Many of the units include 4-20
mA outputs, as well as frequency outputs that can be utilized
for proportional control of chemical additions.
Special packages provide automatic control of specific functions,
such as rinse water make-up, brightener addition for plating baths,
neutralization of waste streams, recording and control of effluent
streams, to name a few.
Combination of several instruments can be customized to provide
a control package to automate many processes economically.
